북촌 한옥마을은 조선시대 한양의 중심부, 경복궁과 창덕궁 사이에 자리잡고 있고 북악 산줄기의 남사면에 위치하고 있어 지리적으로 좋은 환경을 갖추고 있어, 북촌은 예로부터 권문세가들의 주거지 였습니다.

주변으로 한국의 관광지가 분포되어 있어 대중교통 또는 도보로 30분 내외면 서울 관광지는 거의 보실수 있습니다.

 

미담 게스트하우스는 그때부터 자리한 터에 2015년에 대대적인 보수 공사로 현대식 주방과 욕실을 넣어 과거와 현재를 함께 담아, 한옥의 여백의 미와 아늑함을 느끼실수 있습니다. 남향집에 장점인 여름에는 방으로 햇빛이 들지않아 방안은 시원하고, 겨울은 방까지 햇빛이 비춰 방까지 따뜻합니다.
